Their filing system is organized chaos only they understand, but they can name every recurring visitor's birthday, hometown, and relationship status.

Born on the mainland to two accountants who planned every detail of their retirement, Sage grew up in a household that treated spontaneity as a character flaw. They visited Neutopia once during spring break, wandered into a struggling boardwalk attraction at 3 AM, and within three years had charmed the previous owner into signing over the deed during a poker game. Sage's family still sends holiday cards expressing disappointment their child chose the uncertainties of carnival ownership over dental insurance. The Carnival itself is a sprawling mismatch of rescued carnival rides, repurposed boardwalk games, and impromptu performance spaces that Sage maintains with obsessive dedication despite it barely turning a profit.
